Every piece of colorful ceramic we carry — kitchenware, flower pots, wall décor — comes from Dolores Hidalgo, also home to the region's house-number plaques and tiles. Pieces are shaped or cast from a local blend of red and yellow clay; about 70% of the town lives from making and painting ceramics. We buy from roughly 6–8 small workshops and try to build a personal relationship with each maker.
